At 16, Florence’s world collapsed.
When she became pregnant, the father of her child disappeared. With no support and no income, she was forced to leave school. Coming from a poor family, she struggled daily to feed herself and her baby. Hope felt out of reach.
That is when Kairos Building Bridges Organization Uganda stepped in.
Through vocational training in tailoring, Florence discovered something she had lost — confidence. She learned a skill, completed her training, and began sewing for her community.
Today, Florence runs her own small tailoring business.
She can provide food, clothing, and care for her child. She stands with dignity, independence, and renewed purpose.
What once looked like a life defined by hardship has become a story of resilience and possibility.
